"Where have you been?" I hear you ask.
"Its been how long?" I hear the whispers.
I know, I know I have been unbelievably neglectful of my blogging duties! For that I must apologise.
To be honest I have had such a busy 18th months and a shift in family life that crafting and blogging were not up the list of priorities.
I had baby number four (four I hear a gasp...) yes four so i am continually kept on my toes with my young and very lively family.
This is my baby, very proud of pinching her big sisters chocolate!!
I have become actively invovled in my oldest two childrens primary school, a lovely little rural school, and I still participate in various church activties.
Crafting has taken a turn for me and I have rekindled my love for sewing and my passion for crochet and all things woolen has merely taken on a whole new level. The chidlren have lots of lovely crochet items to keep them cosy. I have lots of pictures in posts to follow!
I have also began reading a lot more over the past year. "When does she find the time?" I hear you query. To be honest it is hard but when sleep just seems to avoid me I real or when its a cold blustery day and the kids are constructing a masterpiece out of lego i delve into the pages for a brief encounter with some very talented writers.
It is my aim (I will try to stick to it) that I will be a better blogger and share my crafting and maybe even my reading with you. I have been taking pictures like mad over the last few projects with the intention of sharing them here with you. So please join me once again on my blogging journey.

How long has it been??????
Tut Tut Tut! I have thoroughly slapped my wrists for my lack of blogging over the past few months. The next few posts over the next few weeks will explain all.
I just wanted to add a few pictures of what I've been up to lately!
Its been all go from crocheted monsters for my kids to cake decorating with my girls in GB, making my christmas presents - mum loved her necklace, christmas treats for my friends kids - the snowman conceals a chocolate bar and baking cakes for my friends children - Luca loved his dinosaur.
Will keep you posted of up and coming plans...

Apologies
Hi Folks,
Firstly - Apologies for neglecting my blog so badly!
I have been busy crafting for fundraisers and as usual leave it all to the last minute so I haven't had time to take pictures and post them here.
I promise to do this over the next few weeks.
Secondly - Thank you to all of those kind folk who attended my coffee morning it was a great success and a fantastic sum of money was raised for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children ( there's was a little issue raising money for the building trip so we decided to choose this charity instead.) For more information on the work they do check out www.nicfc.com
We will be having a few craft & cake evenings in December in front of the log fire so if you are interested let me know.
Watch this space....
Thanks

Coffee morning & Craft day
Hi Folks,
If you are free on the 19th November 2011 anytime from 9.30 onwards why not head my way.
I am hosting a coffee morning and craft day to raise money for the building trip to the Philippines that my hubby is going on this December.
You can bring your own craft project and work at it throughout the day, buy a kit to have a go at something crafty or simply relax with a cuppa and some home baked goodies. There will also be a small selection of home made items for sale.
Please tell your friends and hopefully we'll see you then!

p.s if you need directions to the venue please contact me.

Welcome Baby Tommy
Hi Folks,
Let me introduce you to baby Tommy - isn't he cute?!
I made these two little hats to keep this little angel warm this autumn.
They were simple and quick to make and look rather cute on our little model if I do say so myself.
The patterns came off a free crochet website - which one I'm not 100%sure as I've looked at that many!(Any excuse not to do housework!)
Hope you like.

Apologies
Hi Folks,
My apologies for my lack of blogging over the past few months. Since starting my new business I have had little time to craft. I have been busy making baby presents as all my friends are expecting at once! So my crochet hook has been in over drive these past few weeks!
The pictures aren't great but I'll upload them to let you see a few of the items I've finished and passed on.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wedding Anniversary
Hi Folks
It was our wedding anniversary at the weekend and as usual it was a last minute panic to make a card! I had bought the message stamp from Crafters & Co in their clearance sale but I didn't have an image to go with it. I rushed onto the web and bought my first ever digi-stamp!!
The image is forever young by mo manning( www.mosdigitalpencil.com ) I thought it matched the verse perfectly! The image was coloured with pro markers very quickly and layered over some stripy cardstock from an old christmas paper pack from do crafts.I added the strip of pearls to add some dimension and that was it done! Very quick and my husband seemed to like it. I have aspirations of being an eccentric old woman dressed from head to toe in purple so he thought it suited me well!!
Thanks for looking
